ProEndoscopy Story

“First, think. Second, believe. Third, dream. And finally, dare!” – Walt Disney
As a child, Cesar Martin enjoyed taking apart his bicycle and putting it back together- the mechanics of how things worked always fueled his budding curiosity. That spark of ingenuity carried over well into adulthood. The history of ProEndoscopy began in 1999 when Cesar Martin got his first job straight out of high school, working at a medical repair shop in Miami. A son of Cuban immigrants, he needed a job to help pay for college and dreaded the idea of repairing equipment he couldn’t even pronounce. To his surprise, he became enthralled in the mechanics of how medical equipment worked and soon started repairing scopes that were deemed irreparable—much to the dismay of his colleagues and bosses.
From early days as a technician, Martin learned the ropes of the business from the inside out. Within time he held various positions as supervisor and shop manager until he decided to pursue his biggest dream: entrepreneur.
What started out as a 10x10 shared office is now 3,000-sq. ft. facility that employs more than 20 full-time employees, including a medical director, technicians, office personnel and a sales/marketing team.
